Look, I get being the quirky and energetic old guy is Muss’s thing. But this video, I mean come on.

That has to be one of the cringiest pep talks I’ve ever seen to a team. Nobody on the team knows what to do except laugh. The track metaphor itself is hard to listen to, let alone dressing up as a the track runner. This is one of those videos that will go around ESPN and stuff like “Oh my god look at Muss! *insert laugh emoji because its ESPN social *”.

I try to be a Muss Bus guys because I think he’s a great dude and a pretty good coach. But he’s always pulling shit like this that makes it hard. It still doesn’t top the shirt off after a win in the NCAA tournament.

He just feels like such a ‘Look at me!’ coach. And I think I’d be more ok with it if he actually had some real tournament success. He ripped his shirt off after a Round of 32 game. What are we doing? You don’t see any other coach acting like that, even those that have actually made a final four.

Arkansas is gonna heavily in the picture this year so I’m quite sure I’ll be spoon fed Muss content when they squeak out a win in early December. Whatever. That was my rant on Muss.
